I'm going to wait until @SSO declares Aston Martin a safe place to put your money.

It's been a rocky road, but between the Valkyrie and DB12, things are starting to look promising for Aston. Let's hope Stroll can tread water long enough to right the ship...This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
It seems like they are just planning an orderly transition to Geely. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Well, Aston Martin's been in business for 110 years, it's gone through 7 bankruptcies, and the stock price is down 65% in the last year. So far Aston being a safe place to put your money has never happened and it looks like it just might be a while. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

If I ever have the cash to buy an exotic/super car it would be an Aston. Watching that video made me all hot and bothered.
When all my friends or you guys at Beyond meats would talk about Lambos, Ferraris & McLarens, I would be the lone one drooling over those smooth curves on the DB7/DB9, lol.

Ferraris aren't that cool any more. Pretty corporate. McLaren's are New Money.
The big astons have always been cool.
this is true, and why i would probably look to buy used. Although I bet 75% of them for sale will be black or some similar shade. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
One of the things that makes the DBs cool is that they are bought by true ballers who don't give a shit about eye watering depreciation.
Ballers or idiots like me I guess. I got almost 42K off MSRP on my new Vantage and I still took a bit of a bath on it a year later so they deff. depreciate like a mofo. Haha.
That being said, had I kept it all this time, looking at the current market, I could have sold it for more than what I got it after driving it for 2-3 yrs. FML.
These cars even if big depreciation are just rounding errors for you ballers, don’t over think it

Haha touché.
do you have good contacts at the AM dealer? They said the bse price on the DB12 is $300m after currency conversion...which isn't that bad actually. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
That didn’t include their cut

This is an absolutely gorgeous piece of machinery. Incredible.
The front end is wandering into the gape territory, but certainly a long way from a deal breaker. I believe in consistent with hating British vehicles almost across the board* but this is an achievement. Gorgeous.
*Evora-S is a high water mark.
Yes I do, shoot me a pm. Though I imagine @BavarianBeast would have more recent connections there since Dilawri Aston Martin/Bentley got bought out by Grand Touring Autos which also has Lamborghini as a brand. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Does AM still make a manual tx car (new)?
If I wasn't planning on getting the Lotus, I would be looking for a good used AM, DB9. I do like the green on the new AM ca.

That's true. As I get older, I lean more towards GT cars. Need to throw couple of duffle bags in the back and be able to go away for the weekend. Anyone know the MSRP on these?
I read it was 180,000 British pounds base. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
