I’d pay to upgrade to these seats for my seasons if they’re available. Section 212 Row 5 seats 1-2.

Shit, there's only 49 users here, I doubt we'll even break 100
Not exactly news, but now we are into the Christmas break, I thought I'd take a look at where the flames are in the wild card race. A lot has been said about how ownership may have a mandate to "make the playoffs at any cost", and I wanted to look at how realistic that might be.
Sorted by points percentage, which is the only sensible way to do it, the Calgary Flames would have to leapfrog four teams to get into the second wild card slot. That's a long way to climb.

You probably have to end around 0.55 to get in, so we'd have to play at a 0.6 to get there, which isn't crazy, but, every one of the teams above us would have to play BELOW that rate as well. If a single one of those teams goes on a good run we are out.
Like I said none of this is news, but confirms what a lot of us were thinking. Team needs to get more skilled, and the draft is the likely only path for that.

True. I can only hope that some recent success of the youngsters is the mentoring of huberdeau, but JH is so awful right now, we can’t even move him.
It’s incredible actually. Has there ever been a worse contract? The hope is he gets injured, sad to say it but as business what are the options?

"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

They were in a WC spot for a little while and then went on a losing streak. And now every time they get close, they lose.
This is a hallmark of a team that can't handle pressure. A lot of it is on Markstrom, another shit performance last night.
no way bro
marky was good enough last night, some huge saves and the kings are a good team
i say marky upping his trade value huge should we move him but don't think vladar or wolf can handle ft goaltending tho
but yes lots of questions for sure
buster says sell all the assets, hani, lindy, tans, might as well dump mangi and dubs while you are at it
pelts coming back, maybe shilly, and get huberdoh a tony robbins, his lambo and duclair pls

He's a goalie that makes great saves and lets in shit shots.
They should trade everyone not nailed down but contracts like Huberdeau and Markstrom's are almost impossible to move without taking someone else's shit back.
no goalies on the market and a 6'6 goalie for 6mill and 2 years left I think someone will take

Yeah. Markstrom is movable. I think they should move vladar though
For the goalies, move whichever is more marketable.
Move every expiring player. Eat money for 1-2 years of it helps move up draft positions.

Vladar was gotten for a third. He’s like the fourth worst goalie in the nhl. He’s moveable for something like a sixth round pick.
Move Marky and eat salary.
Yeah Marky for half price would be worth a haul. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

They probably want to protect our top goalie prospect during the rebuild rather than feeding him to the... Wolves.
The goaltender cost them somewhere between 5-10 completely winnable games last year, without question. Add 10 points to last year's total and I vaguely recall that I think that would've put Calgary in Kings territory. It's not a broken team. There is a solution, but when negligent leadership fails to address that issue and find a reasonable solution, then that's a different story.
Tre could never find a goalie. He was absolutely terrible at assessing free agent talent.
If someone with better programming skills than me wanted to Peter Brand this thing, I'll bet that the average free agent gives worse value than player acquired by any other means.

See there's no interest In the flames these days.... theres a big game vs the oilers tonight.
#gooilers
Well either the streak will continue and life goes on.
Or flames break the streak and it’ll live rent free in oilers fans heads that the flames fucked your streak.
