Palestinians support Hamas which in turn support terrorism. There are not as many "innocent" people as you think. Supporting an armed and violent resistance vs a nuclear and technologically superior enemy won't go over so well for the Palestinians.

All that is presented to us is what the news show on TV. Actual Palestinians living there are innocent families that I'm sure don't want any violence,they just want to live thier normal lives. I've seen countless videos of Israeli soldiers saying things like "kill them all" , kids woman etc.
One can go on and on either side really. I can't speak for protestors here or elsewhere not living there as I'm sure there are idiots on both sides.

I think an appropriate response would have been to agree that Palestinians across the world should be asking for the release of hostages and innocent businesses across the world owned by jews shouldnt be targeted. Everyone should be denouncing hamas.

You realize there aren't idiots on both sides? It's the hamas(palestinian) rallies asking for murder of jews and jihad. Any rallies Done by Israel supporters go off without the same hate and discussion of mass murder. They dont attack police. They are quite peaceful.
