Was pretty nuts, there are some videos circulating showing angry protesters within less than 10 feet of the PM.

I stay clear of all the protests here, they are dangerous. These pro-Palestine ones are probably among the scariest right now, followed by the climate justice people. When they start taking over roads and marching, get out of the way.

Tough to start gerrymandering which causes are worth cracking skulls over.

My preference being roughing up all protestors, at least a little bit.

Our society is kind of fucked right now, the only people who seem to have enforceable rights are those breaking the law.

A while ago I had a guy come up to me out of the blue and start mouthing me off for no reason, fingering me to my face, and just generally be very threatening. I shoved him back hard to put some distance between us and was like "wtf is your problem". I guess he wasn't expecting somebody to stand up to him, so changed his tune and ran off yelling I'd assaulted him. Next thing I knew the police showed up and started interrogating me about it. I was like... what just happened?

I have no patience for protestors at all. I don't give a fuck how righteous it might be.

If you want political change, there are better mechanisms you can use that are more effective and don't involve violence or being bothersome to the rest of the city.

I'd be fully on board having the police shut down every unsanctioned protest, arresting and jailing those involved, and making the ones that do happen to run a sanctioned event have people who are accountable (like putting up bonds to cover damages and listing attendees).
