What - your western separation thread? I'm all for us colonies demanding a bigger piece of the pie and flexing & posturing, but there is zero chance of separation occurring without complete catastrophic civil war. See Yugoslavia.

We have English, French and Natives in the equation and they are as misaligned as mathematically possible. Plus I can't imagine new immigrants are too keen to leave Canada within their first decade of moving here.

Ok, so now try to lump the Hamas Israel conflict to the West Bank. Between 1948 and 1967, the West Bank was controlled by Jordan, and there were still terror attacks against Israel when there were NO settlements. Are you telling me if Israel abandoned all their settlements there tomorrow, there would be no more Terror attacks???

In 2005, Israel abandoned everything they build in the Gaza strip, and they launched thousands of rockets and other terror attacks. So how well did that go when they abandoned?

In 1967, Jordan attacked Israel. And in its defense, Israel captured the West Bank, and the Eastern part of Jerusalem. Israel has every right to have military control of this area under International law until a peace treaty is reached. And there is no peace, as Israel keeps on bearing the brunt of terror attacks.

Israel has provided 2 State Solution, 5 times each time rejected which included 94% of the West Bank and more additional land and East Jerusalem as its capital. It is clearly evident that the "Palestinians" don't want Peace. Palestinians can't accept that war has consequences. There are no Do-overs in War. Oops, I guess we should have accepted the offers. And now crap we have even less and less land originally offered each time we wage war. Can we Do-over??? They're acting like sore losers and perpetual victims because they lost wars that they started.

By the way there are Arabs in the Knesset and millions of Arabs living in Israel, not crying perpetual victim because they actually didn't leave when the wars started, when their Muslim Neighbors told them to leave confident they could win the war, but now the ones feeling entitled they should be allowed back and cry about areas partitioned for them that they lost because of their own stupid actions.

The only way peace is achieved is that Palestine recognizes Israel's right to exist, but they won't because they can't accept a Jewish State. How many Muslim States are there? How many Jewish states are there?

You seriously think Israeli politicians can have a career supporting two-state solution?

Look up Yitzhak Rabin who was murdered by Jewish terrorist because Rabin supported Oslo accords. The politician that benefitted the most from it was Netanyahu who has repeatedly been elected on this promise - no two-state solution. This was almost 30 years ago and Israeli society has become more extremist.

USA can influence this, but its influenced by AIPAC to no end. Just last month, Nasser Beyoudin and Hill Harper were offered $20 million to run against Rashida.
