It is disheartening to see, but not much surprises me in the US/Canada anymore.
I've lived in Israel for several years, had Israeli friends, various Arab friends and Palestinian friends.

There are a lot of good Palestinian people that are that are 100% victims in this situation, they are truly getting fucked over by both Hamas and Israel.
Unfortunately non of them will ever speak out against Hamas inside the Gaza strip or outside of it out of fear of Hamas retaliating against their own family and friends.
Because of this 90% of the shit you see come out of Gaza is BS.

From personal observation I can tell you with certainty there there are maniacal assholes on both sides that wish death upon the other side, however the vast majority of both Palestinians and Israelis are good people that don't want war.
Unfortunately inside Gaza the percentage of these death hungry maniacs is higher because their own young impressionable children get indoctrinated into this hatered by the powers that operate inside Gaza.
While the children inside Gaza watch Hamas propaganda on TV, children in Israel watch Nickelodeon and Disney Channel. This is directly reflected in the population.

At the end of the day I truly believe that both the West and the East are just feeding the war machine as it's a massive business and business is booming (pun intended)
There will never be peace in that region of the world because it's just too profitable, it's an easy way for both the west and the east to take massive amounts of money from their own taxpayers.
Israel is a puppet of the US while Hamas is a puppet of the Iran, Syria as well as some other arab countries.
However I can see Israel taking this thing all the way regardless of what the US says at this point.

Also keep in mind that mathematically it makes sense how much support you're seeing for Gaza all over the world.
There are about 15 million Jews on earth while there are about 1 BILLION Muslims, of course the support will be overwhelmingly sided with Gaza.
I actually have no issues with Muslims protesting for what's happening there, what is mind boggling are all the woke activists going along with it, these people have no idea what they are protesting for. Most of these woke protestors would get murdered for their very way of life if they stepped foot in Gaza

Well, their standing army is significantly smaller and arguably less well equipped (dates/time being equal) than Iraq was both times the West invaded there. The first time in 1991 took a coalition of dozens of nations and close to 3/4 of a million men in both the invading army and acting in direct support. So ya, invading anywhere could be considered tough. Razing it to the ground with air and missile strikes....maybe not so much.

The USAF/USN hit targets in Syria that had either launched or supported the recent attacks all over the middle east on US forces. They were mostly assets supported by Iran some sources are saying. Not really an escalation, more of a "response".
