Just got back Sunday from Hawaii and that place should do the trick and then some. Did a week in Waikiki and another on the Big island and it was a perfect 25-28c everyday. The flights direct to Waikiki and only 6 hours, has all the shopping and eating you could want and the best part is the hot weather. Vegas is way too much walking for a preggo.

Got so lucky that we missed the crazy temps we had and we flew out one day before they closed the Kona airport down.

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

I'll have to do some digging into San Diego.

In regards to Cancun/Dominican- rather not as we dont want to go for more than 4 days, and god forbid something happens we would rather not be in a foreign country. Plus the sister and law and Husband live on a sail boat in Mexico and we'd never hear the end of it if we didnt visit them...

I'll do some digging into some spa's as well around Banff. Thats not a terrible idea.
There were lots of good options for banff and area on a thread I started asking about reviews on the Nordic spa for exactly what your considering for banff. There were some good options provided by people.

We ended up at the Fairmont hotel in banff for a few days and had a blast. Nice banff hotels we were considering were $600 to $1000 a night. We did the whole spa day. Got drunk at the pool another day. Dinners at Fairmont aren't cheap especially when ordering wagyu. It might have been my most expensive dinner for 2 people ever.

After some random gambling and crappy shopping and Vegas would have been cheaper for us.

How prego? Big difference in trips between a First Trimester and Third.

We did Maui at 5 months, and my wife said it was the second worst vacation of her life.
    What was 1st? Honeymoon?

Yes it is.... wife really really really wanted to get away for a few days just like the OP. Options are quite limited from a relaxing/pampering perspective if you want to stay in alberta.

Banff hotels go up and down a huge amount. If you don't stay at The Springs or the Rimrock it can be almost reasonable. If you enjoy walking the avenue, it can be fun. Still no San Diego though.

Make sure you don't go mountain biking alone and grievously injure yourself when she hits 9 months. I can't comment on vacation but I can assure you that reviews on the injury were poor.

True enough. Lots of nice options and prices are all over the map depending on the time of year. Also, it depends on your wife's taste.

Just found some hotels for 2 weekends for between 190 - 600 (Banff Springs) a night. Rimrock was 300ish.

As Banff Springs pricing continues to go parabolic, they always seem to put additional hotels up so there should be lots of room.

aside from the "it's a castle" factor, Banff Springs is not my preference in that town.

Too many ghosts in that bitch. Vegas is actually not bad weather wise for us Albertans. The whiny locals think it's cold, but its between 15 and 20 out there still during the day.

Alot of walking but she's not crazy far along and there are a ton of places to stop and sit. Albeit vegas definitely isn't a cheap getaway anymore, they get you with the cheap flight and hotel. I was just there a few weeks ago and been there a ton, if you have questions, just ask.

There is? I didn’t get the memo #sadface
