I was so focused on the bmw for so long and the Merc just felt right when I took it for a test drive. Got a decent deal as it was a trade in at the Ford dealership. BC car, the guy traded it in for a new mustang. I'll post pics when I pick her up
Can I ask how much it was OTD? Congrats on the purchase.

Mercedes and Audi guy arguing about reliability. Meanwhile BMW Ranked Top Overall Car Brand by Consumer Reports. Mercedes is there, you just have to scroll to the bottom lol.

I've owned contemporary cars from all 3, I don't identify as a [insert brand here] guy. But fwiw, my MB and Audi experiences did not give me huge confidence in the TCO of those cars haha. Haven't had my BMW long enough yet to have an informed opinion.
BMW, Subaru, Kia, Mini...higher than Toyota? WTF is up with that list.

Toyotas are reliable but their vehicles test out mediocrely and it appears owners aren’t as satisfied with them as owners of some other brands. Seriously when is the last time any Toyota made vehicle came out tops in a magazine comparison or on a 10 best or car of the year? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
BMW owners just convince themselves they've bought the best.

Toyota owners don't buy them for driving satisfaction, this is known. But to say both Lexus/Toyota are 10 points/percentage behind BMW in reliability? Subaru, Hyundai and Audi more reliable than Toyota/Lexus? Wut?This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I got a 2017 with 74k. Originally a bc car, one window claim and seemed like it was serviced regularly through Merc according to the car fax. Paid $36,892 taxes inThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I chatted with a specialist German car shop and they swayed me towards the c43 as an option after taking in a 335i in for inspection. Said it would be more reliable than any N series motor. The 340i would have been reliable they said but I found the Merc to feel alot faster and nicer interiorThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
