Yeah they'd have to start a new party technically.

But they can't. Literally. By definition.
I thought this was implied - that the current alberta NDP infrastructure would start a new party. The NDP party, such as it exists through the country, would then cease to operate in Alberta.

They'd have to completely rebrand and not sure the risk/reward math will endorse that. Yes, they're already bad at math, but I'm not sure they are that bad at math.

But instead they'll just talk about it, and make it seem like it's something they want to do, to attempt to attract more votes.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

The Alberta NDP might not legally exist anyway. So they could cut the cord.

Just go with the entity that has the most money. That being said as of June 2024: I bow down before our AI overlords.

It's an interesting question, will Nenshi increase or decrease support for the NDP? Previously the party brand seemed more important than the individual. Nenshi is the biggest celebrity to run for that party, probably ever.

Just wait for the NDP infighting to start. He’s never been a true believer.

Notley was NDP royalty by comparison.

Alberta putting an AI candidate would be a pretty big PR move to increase investment dollars. UK is betting on it. Don't make me do it myself.

    How previously are we talking?

he Alberta NDP is doubling down on Premier Rachel Notley’s popularity by emphasizing the leader over the party.

Since November, the party has been announcing its candidates for the upcoming (but date yet-to-be-announced) election and posting their photos on Twitter.

But instead of an NDP logo in the corner, each photo features Notley’s name.

A recent poll suggests this may be a smart strategy for the NDP.

Nenshi was very unliked when he left office.
No way he steamrolls the Conservatives.

Especially because Danielle has been much, much better than anticipated.

For AB yes. But let's not forget about the Rub n Tug connoisseur in Ontario. That also lived in government housing while collecting a federal government paycheck.
