I think I would consider it...but I started losing my hair around my crown. And I think that's a lot harder to come back from. You also pretty much have to go on the medications, too...which I can't be bothered to do.
NO harm in taking propecia as long as you got a family and kids already. Apparently side effects could impact sperm count but that's hardly a concern later.

Also hair transplants can do all areas crown, forehead etc. no problem.

Sure. But crowns are hard and you run out of donor hair

Main thing is dont cheap out on a hair transplant and then get stuck trying to fix it. Hair is better than bald but bald is far better than a fucked up transplant

I looked into this a few years ago before going overseas was the rage and the guy from Vancouver wanted $30,000. Abandoned the idea completely.

Now I've heard you can get a great surgeon, a flight to Istanbul, a hotel for a week all for under $10,000. It's really piqued my interest. My wife doesn't care but I still would prefer hair.

I think it depends hugely on the shape of your head and somewhat on your facial features. Mark Messier looks fine while Jeff Bezos looks like a cartoon villain.
Jeff Ross looks like a shiny scrotum while Woody Harrelson looks like a human man.

    No harm...

I appreciate that this is an outlier experience but the side effects can still suck pretty hard:

All for vanity? Not for me. I started shaving my head about 10 years ago and haven't looked back. I see photos of my self from before and am actually embarrassed when i see how bad it looked. There is real comfort to just accepting how age related changes are inevitable.

This is a good point. If you're ugly, shaving your head isn't going to make you not ugly.

Also, if you're ugly, having a full head of hair isn't going to make you not ugly.

OP, I guess the takehome here is if you're ugly, don't waste your money. Post a mugshot so we can provide some guidance.

There's no need for you to PM me nudez just because you asked the OP to post a mugshot... Jesus.

Anyways, there's a lot of head shapes. Many people have weird dents like as if a horse kicked them in the head and others and nearly a geometric sphere. They are not good candidates for baldness or shaved heads.
    People with human-shaped heads are.

I know a handful of people downtown Calgary who flew to Turkey to get this done and all of them turned out great. A solid mixture of widows peak and crown balding and theres no way you could tell on any of them after the work was healed. I don't know what clinic they went to but they said they made a whole trip out of it and got some golf in and everything. I didnt get into specifics on cost but everyone seemed to indicate it was about 1/4-1/3 of getting it done in North America even when you include flights and accomodations.

i know a guy that does a hairpiece now and it actually looks good, he's the type of guy to own it and not give a shit and it seems to be working in his favour..

Haha classic beyond, great feedback. I think the hair would be a personal preference at this point. Not really looking into medications thought I do have kids so whatever cons there are I could care less about. No need to get snipped later on.
