I never did post my finalized sleeve, completed by Tim Ashman at Obsidian Rose in Chestermere
Got this one last summer by Tony Clemence of Immaculate Concept. Going back in a few weeks for a cover-up of a bad decision lol
Added the lower sleeve a few months ago, done by Deano at Deadly. Finishing the inner arm in the next few months. Top sleeve done by Tautu a long ass time ago.

That is a very nice tattoo, man. Kudos.
I have a similar Polynesian/Filipino tribal one on my left arm that Deano has done as well. I want something of the same for my lower right calf/shin area.

Damn. There are some STUDS in this forum.
I've got two that I got 10ish years ago. Don't get a fully white tattoo if you want it to actually be a piece of art that other people can see because it definitely fades, even if you are pasty white like me. I still really like mine but they aren't meant to show off or be part of the rest of my art. Unless you look really closely you'd never know they were there. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I know a lot of artists won't tattoo purely white tattoos unless you already have quite a few pieces because people always come back saying they faded or don't look as good and its just a pain in the ass for them. My artist in Saskatoon has taken that stance and I can't blame him. If mine were meant as an actual art piece I'd be pretty pissed at their condition right now.

@tirebob I saw that on insta, so cool, how does it feel? I’ve been wanting to do tap for awhile just can’t find the right guy to do it.
Surprisingly it is not bad. I prefer it to getting machine tattooed now. This is my third, and largest tebori piece. The only real drawback is obviously the time is longer by far, but I really like the process! The weirdest think is the suction like sound the needles make going in and out. It freaks some people out but really it isn't bad. The healing is way easier too. The skin is far less traumatized. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Here are the other two Doug did for me...

You had your cherry broken by one helluva well respected and good guy of the tattoo industry! Congrats! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I had been leaning towards him and your comment on him a few pages back sealed the deal. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
James is a good guy. He did my first tattoo on my back way back when too. Also started off my half sleeve two years ago, I did the inner arm by someone else but James is finishing up the rest of the sleeve next month.
I'm surprised and impressed by your willingness for such permanence. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Haha yea I get that every now and then considering the background and profession and all. But as long as they can all be hidden under a suit when need be, I quite enjoy them. Also, mine tell a story of my life essentially and have quite a bit of meaning behind them - which is an absolute must for me. Other than that, it's a brave new world after all. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
A little more tebori tattoo action today... One more sessions and should be done!

Looks good Bob. Surprised you still have room left lol. James did my full outer sleeve now - just a little portion left on the inside forearm and I guess it'll officially be a sleeve.
Haha! I am definitely into the final 3rd of being fully suited... James is a champ man! Great tattooer! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
