I don't think I'll buy another Blizzard game again. They completely ruined Diablo 3 (all most people wanted seemed to be a revamped Diablo 2), regularly ignore their fans, and have had quite a few bad PR moments since then. That is just my opinion anyway, though it seems to match most of the overall sentiment. Just going off of that video, the graphics and skill animations look surprisingly average as well for a premium game scheduled for 2020.
Path Of Exile is what D3 should have been, and it's getting completely revamped next year as well likely to go head to head with whatever D4 ends up being. It's also free, and can be as easy or as complicated as you want it to be. Perfect game for people who don't have a ton of time, or sporadically play, but they do big updates every 3 months as well to appease the hardcore players. The developers are surprisingly responsive to the users as well. Best of both worlds IMO.
Diablo 1 changed the gaming world when it came out and D2 was good successor, but 3 ugh.. so bad and such garbage. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
4? Meh not really caring.
Yeah pretty much. The third party mods for Diablo 2 were good enough (basically added everything people had been begging Blizzard to add forever) that it could tide people over until POE gained popularity. D3 remains one of the worst games I have ever played, and I endured several 'patches' with people saying it will get better...but nope, same shit different pile each time. I liked D2 so much that I had faith in D3 way longer than I should have, such a waste of time (for me). This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Let’s all get ready people! Lol

I didn't think D3 was bad, I quite enjoyed it.

D3 was fun. Only thing about Diablo games are when you're done, it's all about grinding after. I stopped after a couple of times I beat the game but I don't know if there are more contents after that. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

D2 was pinnacle for me, did not enjoy D3 anywhere near as much. Civilization IV was also pinnacle.
Cocoa $7,000 per tonne.
Yeah D2 has been the best version for sure.

I only got D3 when it came to console afer all the bugs and issues had been ironed out. Had a ton of fun playing it. One of the few games I 100%'d achievement and challenge wise on xbox (with the exception of seasons, I never bothered with that)
Interested in it but will wait until after its out to see if its worth it to buy. Loved D2 and had thousands of hours in it but hated D3. The way games are going I wouldn't be surprised if D4 is shit and has some kind of pay to win for online.
It's going to be terrible compared to D2, and it's still going to make a massive amount of money for them.
D3 on release was...not good. They did straighten it out after a long while though.
Will keep an eye out for more demos down the road for D4, always a good time sink to play with friends.
The entire time i was in playing D3, i just missed my old maphack in D2.. and popping bodies to steal gear haha
This, the original D3 was hot fucking garbage. After they turfed the Auction House and retooled the game it got much better. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I'm looking forward to D4, will be interesting to have other players in the game again.
Pretty much this. I played it on launch, got super frustrated with the lack of progress unless I used real money to buy items. They ditched the RMAH, added the expansion, and it got much better. I played the first few seasons before interest waned. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Competitor PoE 2 preview.
Cocoa $7,000 per tonne.
Diablo 4 still nowhere to be seen, but Diablo 2 remastered is out soon. I was going to buy it until I saw the price. Sorry, I'm not spending $60cad on a 20yo game, no matter how much better the graphics are.
