My sink detached from my granite counter (it's pretty old, pre-renovation kitchen).
I know these things are just glued/siliconed to the underside of the counter. Who does this type of work? Cabinet guys? Plumbers?

We used Canyon for most things and they did all the installs on the sinks including fastening them in.
But for something like this I would highly recommend hitting up the home depot on 130th ave and grab yourself a tube of silicone and do it. Pretty small job that will save you a large chunk
I agree, Youtube Handyman and some silicone. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
You'll know it's done properly if you can stand in it and it stays attached.
Silicone, 2x4 and a strap.
You'll need the 2x4 and strap to keep pressure on the sink from below unless you have anchors underneath.
I had to geek out on Silicone years ago when I had a 500L fish tank that needed work - turns out there is silicone for almost every need:

You guys are all peasants, as if Buster wants to get silicone on his tom ford 3 piece.
Good point. I'll come by and do it for $2000.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
i would probably call a company that does kitchen renovations for this vs. a plumber.
go on kijiji and search 'kitchen renovation' and i'm sure you can find someone that would do it
Okay okay, $1800, so long as you keep showing those sexy calves while I work. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

It would be the granite/quartz countertop guys who do this.

i dont have blonde hair.
I'd be calling a granite company. The guys who installed my countertops did my sink, and they were experienced at it. But like others said, a couple of scrap chunks of wood and a good tube of dow silicone and you're on your way.
Just use some JB weld
Might want to grab some of these for added insurance next time. Works great, super easy to install, stays out of the way for storage. Strapping works too but why not ball out on the sink too?
