My same thoughts when I purchased one....then got rid of it for an F150. Although I didn't push the limits too much, it was a lot easier to do things with a truck with way more capability than I needed. Towing with the ridgeline was never fun (or felt that safe) whereas with the F150 I barely notice the trailer. Same thing hauling sod, gravel, etc. Moved my entire household with just the ridgeline also...Ya, it got the job done - but was always awkward. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. A good gateway truck....

Yeah basically felt the same about my Taco. Could get most things done but in many situations felt under-gunned. I rarely mind maneuvering or parking a full size halftonThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
My wife (5'0") prefers driving the F150 over the ridgeline - some of that could be the added parking tech however. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Only thing she worries about is hitting the tow mirrors ever since I told her a story of a buddy slapping tow mirrors with another truck on a narrow road (which I refer to as the redneck high five)
More like crossing swords.
But what if you never needed to tow? Or never needed to haul gravel? Or never needed to move your home yourself? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I have a Northshore Rack...probably the best bike rack you can buy. It's a pain in the ass to use racks. Also, I would need to upgrade to a 6 bike rack in order to fit all five of our bikes. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I think what you actually need is an econoline, no need to leave your bike outside like a pleb.
Plus you could deliver Amazon packages in your free time
If you want to be Aspen you could get the Mercedes one and put some mag badges on it?

They’re probably good. Have a buddy with the 6 bike one on his f150, his brother has a north shore on his suv, night and dayThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I have a bike with me almost daily. The bed on the Ridgeline was a few inches too short and not deep enough to lock a bike under the tonneau without removing a wheel etc. Not a big deal overall, but it got very annoying. The rear seat room was 'good enough' also - but when you factor in 2 kids, dogs, a cooler, etc. - it got cramped in a hurry. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Other issues like a rusting around the gas cap seams (from the inside out), galvanic corrosion on the radiator fasteners, and flakey electronics at times (stereo lights would flash now and then) also made me question the build quality. Not that my Ford experience has been any better though...
Bike racks: I had a bar across the front of the tonneau on the ridgeline with 4 fork mounted bikes, racks on the roof for 2 bikes, and a 4 bike hitch rack on the rear for a total of 10 bikes. Did work well for hauling bikes for 4+ people to races...
