Who else here runs a fucked up schedule?
Anybody else find themselves up working at 1.30am and it doesn't seem weird?

Nope, I could never handle that shit.
Crazy early in the morning yes, late at night no.

These last 3 days I’ve been working 3am to 11pm daily.
It sucks but I gotta pay the bills somehow!

When I was writing my thesis, 10pm - 4am were my Golden Hours. My partner hated it. Apparently this is quite common for Grad students.
These days, we get up at 530am and in bed by 10pm at the latest. Overall I sleep better and feel more rested, which overall is a healthier lifestyle.

Those poor bastards working Mon-Fri that have no idea about the beauty of shift work. Fighting rush hour traffic every day, having a measly 2 days off to basically do house chores before going right back to work, having to run errands at the most miserable times to be in a store or establishment.
I find I'm most productive 6-10, 2-5 and 8-9.
There's a deep valley in the middle of the day and then family stuff all evening.

I do some work in the evenings sometimes but I find myself checking out at 9pm.
8-2am is my most productive time
I have to work odd hours being on call for stuff that runs 24 hours a day. I only ever think about the time now if I need to know how long until I need to be somewhere, or how long it's been since I should have been somewhere. Getting a phone call at midnight to get on the road doesn't really bother me anymore. The only thing is whether I've had enough sleep, which would be an issue no matter what time the call comes. I'd prefer to be up during the day and asleep at night, but going to bed in the middle of the day doesn't bother me too much.
I live alone so I don't have to worry about working around a wife or kids. I might think differently if that was the case.

Yeah, when you are "working" with the kids from 6-7:30 am and 4-8pm every day and then throw funky work schedules on top of that, it can spin out of control in a real hurry.

I just work when I need to, it all depends on deadlines/workload. I typically don't come in till nearly 9 unless there's a reason, like to start my day slow at home before I migrate to the office but often will end up working till 10/11 pm if necessary. I don't stretch much past 12 hours anymore unless emergency dictates.

In general I much prefer morning grind than evening, you aren’t getting the best out of me after 6 or 7pm unless it’s doing something extremely mechanical.
I try to get to work before 7 generally, gives me some peace to actually get things done before most people are rolling out of bed.
