A serious question. My kids love the most random songs, and of course one is hooked on Bad Boys, the theme from Cops. We were in the Miata getting gas, top down with it playing. Not loud, it’s the damn OEM system, but with the top down it could be heard by others. Anyways, I had someone give me a dirty look and shake his head at me over that. Having Support the Troops plates probably doesn’t help either. Is Bad Boys not an appropriate song anymore?

On another note, the Omaha bar owner who shot a guy who was trying to strangle him has an update. The prosecutor said they would not be pressing charges as it was self defence, then got dog piled by protesters and reversed their decision. Students get suspended for violating the schools code of conduct (not for using the word, but for unauthorized recording) and the CBC finds some activist to say that it’s not ok to police the use of the word if it’s spoken by a black person
