I leased this bitch. I can't do any crazy mods like that. Plus knowing me, the longer I hold on to it, the lesser of a chance there is of me continuing to keep it, so there's that.
Like that had ever stopped you

Perhaps swap your lease to this one? Then sell me your "old" zr2 with a huge discount please.

My comment was certainly more relevant than this little contribution of yours in this thread I'd say. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
It's still rated for 5000lbs. Honestly, I just want something I can toss a dirtbike into the back, and occasionally make a dump run, or pick up some lumber for projects. Nothing big. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Exactly. My needs for a truck will never push the limits that are considered weaknesses on the RL.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
My problem with the ridgeline has very very little to do with its capabilities.

Meh, still think mid-sized should be able to adventure a little off the beaten path.
The complaint of “soft” suspension on the ranger actually works well for me; soaks up moose mountain rd like it’s nothing. Has just enough “toys” (skid plates, lsd, etc) for some light off road for random camping, or lazy outdoors picnics (fuck hiking!) then lux had to be at least on par with the last car, you can’t go backwards on that shit, so lariat ticked those boxes. Xlt does leave a lot to be desired on that front, but that’s sort of the point.
Plus drivetrain is the tits. Focus rs, forged internals engine, and same 10sp trans from the f150, good payload so that motorbike doesn’t sag shit, and can town well enough to sub in for a half ton if I ever need it; which I don’t, maybe if we borrow the father in-law’s trailer... but that’s doubtful
Yeah, sounds like the Ranger fits your needs better than the RL.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

This is exactly my use for the RL as well.
+ throw the mtn bike in the back and head out
Their slogan should be why buy a bike rack, when you can buy a Ridgeline.
