That sedan actually looks really good, just like a mini C-class and not nearly as ugly as the current CLA.
Coming to a car2go near you soon!
Is Canada getting the A35 wagon? 2020?

The car looks ultra-generic and bland on the outside but damn that's the nicest interior I have seen from any automaker at this price level. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Saw an A250 hatchback last week, looks fantastic. Combined with that interior, very tough to beat in the price range.
So if the A35 hatch is released in NA this fall as a 2020 MY, what's the projection on how far behind the AMG A45 and A45S versions will be? That's assuming the A45 is even headed over here...
A45 will be a year behind. 420hp, unfortunately, no hybrid.

I wish the A35 wasn't so damn expensive - looks like $45K USD with no options, according to C&D. Still interested in the 250 though it's pretty easy to get to $50K CAD with only some options. Lots of nice cars in that price range.
I feel like Trump tariffs and may be other factors and increasing MSRP of cars. Not scientific but just a feel probably influenced by $65K Gladiator and $120K GC Trackhawk. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

hmm, you are right. Down 10% from 2017. Didn't know it was that much. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
It's going to start somewhere between $45-48k CAD. The 45's are moving on up in price, expecting another $5k or so to the base price to existing 45's.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

OK that's not nearly as bad as I thought based on the C&D article I read - from that I assumed more like $55K CAD starting. Thanks! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Soa nicely equipped A45 is going tobe 80k or something? If that's the case, I might look at alternatives. Lots in that price range. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I had my GLA45 spec'd to $75k. Wouldn't hesitate to pay $80k if it had the hybrid system. Unfortunately, it doesn't.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
