All I know is that I am actively working to have the reward centers in my brain pointed towards beneficial things. As part of that, I am actively eliminating things in my life which are designed to be status oriented. Cars are a prime example of that. I don't want to get a dopamine hit from a car. In the same way, don't want to get a dopamine hit from riding my mountain bike in a dangerous way. Having alcohol. Etc.
I'm keeping the smelly jeans tho.
