GFG! ...I'm actually excited to see what a real coach can do with some added players that he intentionally wanted...my hope are high but apart of me definitely thinks we've just been transformed into a big, tough...... slow ass team.

That being said, I'm willing to give it just this one more year before we actually do a full rebuild.

Wow I know that's the first preseason game, but that was rough.
Allowing massive number of shots (49) and taking a pile of penalties isn't the path to success for any club.

Enjoyed the nachos and malt, I guess. But the game was depressing. Hope the team can come together in the next 3 weeks to learn to play Sutter hockey (tm) more effectively.

It's been time to trade this useless core for 2 seasons at least. Gonna be some good old fashioned middling Flames hockey for the umpteenth time

They outplayed both Edmonton and Anaheim in their first 2 games... and they actually were somewhat entertaining considering the type of hockey the Flames usually play. Or maybe it just seemed exciting because the season has just started, I dunno.
