Have they frozen any accounts of people who just donated without being an organizer? My family members in one of my group chats keeps saying it’s happening but haven’t been able to find any proof aside from a tweet from a CPC MP.

Base on recent poll, NDP will actually lose power and Trudeau will regain majority if they call for an election. Singh have no interest to do so as kingmaker is good enough (And I believe Singh is also a new dad, so life is disruptive already).

CPC fired O'Toole and is nobody's darling in Ontario right now. Leaderless and retreated to the base, it's in no shape for election. If anything, CPC will probably go back to Reform roots and size out of this deal as they lose Atlantic provinces to whatever Red Troies they come up with or to Liberals. But they can definitely play the fight for your freedom card like Green because their votes doesn't matter in this case, may as well earn some PR points.

Freeland stated in one of the pressers that the RCMP has only provided the banks with details of the organizers, and people linked to vehicles that were actually attending the convoys. They did say something about donations made after the 15th which was when it was deemed illegal, but i don't think they provided that info, just that it was something they were looking at.

That's why they are the ones threatening it. They had the option of avoiding election talk entirely, which I think would have been smarter, but what do I know?

But RCMP did claim they are not going after individual donors because people claim on twitter they are frozen. Only where they are pooled?

yeah this was discussed previously in this thread, there are 15 organizers, plus the non-profit it's self, and they're freezing everything related to those people, so it's quite possible that 15 people had 76 combined accounts (normal bank accounts, business accounts, credit cards?, crypto...)... so i dont think they're freezing small fries at this point.

The one woman organizer was denied bail for counselling to mischief. Are they just inventing new criminal charges now? I’m pretty sure when I was younger mischief netted a bored teenager a few hours of community service, now it’s a matter of national security. Hahaha. I’m sure there will be a specific crime soon for honking and you will need a PAL to carry a horn in your vehicle. (yearly fee)
