Maybe Toyota is tired of building appliances?
Please dont price me out of the market for this, I want a Celica/Supra like the 80's. Affordable perfomance.

Looks cool. Still seems a little over-styled. Hopefully it will calm down a bit when hitting production. I'm interested to see the pricing on this when it hits the streets.

It will easily be over 100k.
Wait a hybrid Supra
Fuck Toyota needs to get their shit together fast they are by far the most boring automobile manufacturer. Like even Hona (2nd most boring) atleast try's with the Civic Si. If Toyota wants to ever atract 20 something's to buy their cars they need to do something major and a hybrid supra is not the answer.

So true
Its not only about money. Its about freedom, friends and family too.
Toyota has a relationship with Tesla Motors, so save the hate for the "green" Supra until the facts are known. The era of the average Joe two seater car has hit a pole for the most part, if this Supra has four seats, well I call shotgun or driver.
I think it will be priced to compete with the Z.
Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?

ever since they stopped making the supra...there has always been rumors and the "oh yes the supra and mr2 are coming out soon" bull. i will believe it when i see it. its taken many years for this ft-86 thing to come out.
also bare in mind that cars these days can not be gas guzzling monsters. governments are putting a lot of pressure on auto makers in north america, and since we won't completely ditch gas, hybrids are our option. just think though...a sporty hybrid with the initial torque of an electric motor and a gas motor to back it up. i wouldn't toss away the idea of a hybrid just because you think of a prius. i know when Toyota did decide to make sports cars they were awesome. and now that the market is picking up and people have some extra money to spend on sports cars instead of the "boring(cheap)" cars having one out soon isn't such a bad idea.
plus a sports car that could keep up to a z and get better mileage....well my wallet likes that.
I think people are still reeling from the god awful CR-Z.Originally posted by hellraiser456

Shit, there's only 49 users here, I doubt we'll even break 100
IE, accountants will never allow it until you should them a profit selling a $100K version of LFA.Toyoda said that he “wants to see the next Supra tested in the near future” but underlined that “even if one president says that we want to have a Supra again, the whole company is not going to be responding to that request”.
They need to make this cars price competitive with the current Genesis Coupe.Originally posted by 94boosted

Well they had to test the water with a highly competative japaneese super car, now its time to bring out a highly competative japaneese sports car.Originally posted by max_boost
