do you tip in the lounge
or everything just free free lol
Trust me. You won’t get good enough service from anyone in the lounge to be tempted to tip

With the 1 time being if you are looking to get absolutely torqued
Or if they have shower facilities and you want to use them. Those are pretty rare though.

Why aren't there high-end hookers in airports? I'd think there would be a market for that.
Even post-security gates, I'd think a hooker could swallow enough loads in 3-4 hours that she could absorb the cost of the bullshit Flair $32 flight that she "missed".

    *BRB... Starting airport whore empire.

Heard. Wife and I have 12 yearly passes combined. It's better than sitting in the airport boarding area but that's about the best I can say.
If you are even 'lucky' enough to be at a airport that has a Dragon Pass lounge.

I was in Orlando, Nashville, Chicago, Atlanta, Denver, Raleigh, Houston, etc.. recently and none of them have Dragon Pass lounges, or in a terminal that's almost inaccessible or not without a 20min+ track to jump across 3 terminals=. I understand the smaller airports might not have one, but why wouldn't the biggest and busiest airports like DEN and ATL have at least 1 Dragon Pass lounge.

They let everyone and their dog in now so I wouldn’t assign lounge access much value.

IMHO you are better off just going to a sit down restaurant 9 times out of 10.

Hey if the alternative is sitting in the terminal with the unwashed masses by all means go do it in the lounge with the washed masses. But it’s far form exclusive and usually they are full with waiting lists these days. If they are even open.

It’s basically a scam at this point.

I once sat in a lounge in the Bahamas that was more crowded than the cafe next door. It was hilarious.

Far too easy to get access to lounges now, it's all just the unwashed masses we used to be able to escape

Got $99 for an annual fee credit card? here's 4 lounge passes and you can bring your stinking rat dog in too, since you absolutely can't be without it for a long weekend to Victoria

Lukewarm food, (one brand of) flat beer and the same worn out chairs you can get in some of the free quiet areas of the terminal....amazing

Go to the bar and have a decent choice of drinks and warm fresh food, the $35 that would cost is probably a bargain by comparison

Calgary airport lounges are just garbage now

I don't mind the WestJet Elevation lounge actually. Others are mediocre, but that one is not bad.

Good call. I've found most airport lounges to have shit food and even worse drinks.

But the quiet ambiance is a welcomed break from regular terminal chaos.

That is true. Last week I was in Orlando having a $9 local IPA and $27 steak dinner at the Outback Steakhouse inside terminal while watching at least 10 ppl waiting in line for >20mins to get into the Delta lounge cause it was full. That was definitly money better spent than whatever they otherwise charge for lounge access now.

Lounge is doubly bad value if you are paying to use it.

Free is one thing. Pay? Definitely go sit down at a restaurant.

I think disappointment in airport lounge remarks would fit well in the 'Thinly veiled brag' thread that has disappointingly lost traction.

Boating is correctly rated. Boat ownership is the real overrated thing.
