I know there aren't that many in town, but it would be interesting to see how many around here have one also.
I haven't actually seen another one on the road in Calgary.

I guess I should add a pic, or whatever.

Sweet ride! I love the Wagon. Probably not many in town I would guess.

I love these things too. Sooo want one for the family ride!!!
Awesome car!
Got any plans for it?
I know there are at least 1 or 2 other ones. It's a good family mobile. I've got 2 young kids, and its workable for that. I'm coming from a 535 wagon, and it's a slightly smaller vehicle, and the trunk is substantially smaller than the BMW. But overall, very adequate.
We will likely be getting a full-sized SUV when we upgrade our other car in the next couple of years...and make the V the backup family hauler instead of the primary.
Not really. I'm kindof a stock guy. Got the modding bug outta me when I was a lot younger. One of the appealing things about the V wagon, is it doesn't really need much. It already looks aggressive (in a stock way), and while getting to 650- 700 hp is cheap and easy, I'm pretty satisfied with the current power. I'm already very traction limited at anything resembling city driving speeds...especially on these winter tires.Originally posted by KRyn

I was so close to buying a Wagon down in Arizona last summer. In the end my wife won with us buying a holiday trailer and home reno`s. Such an awesome car in every way. Car and Driver's long term test concluded that it was their favorite car of all time, quite the complement from such BMW/Import faithful. Might look into a V this year again, biggest problem is deciding between the Coupe or wagon.
That was an easy decision for me, obviously. But I genuinely prefer the look of the wagon to the coupe and the sedan. I had been looking at 911's and Vettes to add a little fun to things...but in the end I decided I decided I didn't want the hassle of an extra car...and the V does everything so well.Originally posted by corsvette

The cts-v is basically a luxury z06, luxury and speed. Best of both worlds.
Such a nice car man
The coupe never tickled my fancy in pictures, quite the different story to see one in person. A guy down the road from me has one and it looks amazing in real life. I'd like to have both coupe and wagonOriginally posted by Buster

It's a great car, and I love the looks. Gotta be a V, tho...for the bigger wheels in the rear quarter panels.Originally posted by corsvette

Going back to a GM product after my stint with BMW, I do have to chuckle at the rattles and such in the interior. BMW bolts together their interiors really well. Cadillac? Not so much...
But I can live with it. More of a quirk than a complaint.

(Although technically, it's more closely related to a de-tuned ZR1 from a drive-train perspective, since it has the 6.2l block, with a blower. Smaller blower and less exotic valves, etc).
First of all, man points to you for driving that beast in the winter!!
OP, sick ride. I have a soft spot for fellow LS powered vehicles and those wagons look mean!!
Were you on Elbow Drive last night at around ~ 8 p.m. ish? I saw one ahead of me , I tried to catch up but not at those speeds
There are very few of these in Calgary, I don't think we have even delivered one at work we sell a lot more sedans and coupes!
That wasn't me! Are you sure it was a V? I do see black non-V wagons around from time to time.Originally posted by Hallowed_point

I know a couple of guys recommend the service department at GSL over the other shops. I have taken previous Cadillacs to Carter's and have had good service there, too...but heard a couple of nasty stories. You never know what to believe.Originally posted by Twin_Cam_Turbo

Maybe I will take the car to GSL next time to see how it goes.
