Air suspension in an SUV would be useful for hauling trailers/cargo towing.
Should be a hot seller.

Man they must have good deal on those screens
I'd never get white but that interior looks pretty sweet minus the screen.
Still not sure why they would still need the giant border on that screen especially it's not like it's an ipad which needs room for battery and cpus. Should make the display area bigger.Originally posted by Mitsu3000gt

Looks way better than the outgoing GLK! Good work. I like it.
8 lines of cars, and 7 lines of SUVs.Originally posted by Redlyne_mr2

Yea, it's getting ridiculous.
I thought I would hate the screens, but after a few days, I couldn't go back to a screen below the dash line. Might look ugly in pictures, but you don't even notice it as a driver or passenger.Originally posted by Mitsu3000gt

i was looking at the GLE this morning. This is much more appealing. Esp with a 507 HP TT V8 from the C hopefully in the pipeline.
My biggest problem is i didn't realize the GLE is a mid cycle of the M and as such doesn't have all the new features that make this gen of C so appealing
It looks alot like a Cayenne.

Not sure I like the styling on the back-end. MB seems to be doing the same thing all other manufacturers are doing - making tiny brake lights, up high and with a low bumper and a large, flat square set into the remainder of the hatch.
Interior is very common with the new design philosophy of MB, it is not bad, would look much better in person than in photos
When they said there'd likely be an AMG model, I thought a 45... a GLC63 would be bonkers! Somehow I doubt that will happen though...Originally posted by killramos

It won't be a 45. The engine points the wrong way.

That's just pure crazy.
Yea GLC is based on the new C ( which means 63 with 4.0TT) versus the GLA which is based on the CL/A. And the GLE which is just a lipsticked M aparently.

The GLE carries over the 5.5 TT with 570hp (Really 630+) from the E63S. I think the ML63 only got the 550hp tune.Originally posted by killramos

I don't think AMG has a 4Matic drivetrain mated to the 4.0TT yet.
The GLC63 AMG will likely get the 4.0TT and be the first 4Matic with that motor.

My hope is that with this being C based it will come in at a more reasonable price than GLE. Mostly i thought the GLE was an all new car for some reason and I'm horrified that its a face lifted minivan...

GLA lines up with the A class.
GLC lines up with the C class. Formerly known as GLK.
GLE lines up with the E class. Formerly known as M or ML.
GLS lines up with the S class. Formerly known as GL.
The only one that doesn't get changed is the G class, as that name is iconic.
As for what's new along with the name, GLA was a brand new class, GLC is a redesign, GLE is a facelift, and GLS will get the name change in 2016 (MY2017) when the facelift is unveiled.
If you can forget the old naming scheme, it's much easier to figure out how they're ranked in terms of price. So yes, your GLC will be cheaper than the GLE.

Not really a fan, it looks too much like every single other small SUV now. But that's just my biased opinion. When it comes time to trade the GLK in, I don't see myself staying with MB.
