15 years here, and it's the first I've seen my street actually not be able to drain fast enough. No water ingress into the house though, and not even a single flicker of lights. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

That's not a terrible idea, but I'll pass. Seems like the water was coming in one side of the weeping tile and out another. Water was stable the entire 2.5h that power was out.
SW, had some steady rain and heard some thunder... but that's about it. Crazy to see how much came down elsewhere in the city.
Same in Saddleridge, was expecting the worst but we only got some normal-to-heavy rain for a while and then nothing. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The back to back storms were essentially the shape of a surfboard as they passed directly over the city. Very narrow corridor of intense activity.
Well our unintentional rain collectors in the back yard show that we got slightly over 10cm of rain on Thursday evening, quite a bit.
Will fuck off, again.
Went camping out of cell range. Came back to about 100 voicemails.
My attached neighbors basement flooded with the rain + sump power failure.
By some miracle my basement was dry as a bone.
Time to buy a sump battery...

Luckily couldn’t pass noise tech at auto x so our day finished early and we sent the car home ahead of the storms.
