It should be noted that we are hitting records in lack of flu cases. No known community transmission so far in all of Canada, which means far less killed by the flu this year - perhaps zero. So, no, you can't just look at deaths and call it a day... there are many factors, and the lack of flu is just one of them.
Secondly, you're falling into the false narrative so many like you attempt: Only 13g have died of Covid in Canada. Not a big deal, right? Wrong. You have to keep in mind that the number of deaths and infections are mitigated by everything we ARE doing to fight Covid. Its the same reason flu is down to almost nothing. The measures are working. Not well enough for government officials, but I suspect the numbers are higher than they would like primarily due to people with your attitude, as opposed to people who are doing everything they they can to limit spread.
Had we done nothing, deaths would be exponentially higher... to the tune of ten times as much or possibly more. Population of a medium city.
Still seem insignificant to you? If so, you have bigger problems than I thought. Your logic is terribly flawed, yet you strut in here like you are woke. You aren't woke. You're just wrong.
