I don't know where you've been, but Canada is rapidly becoming a global leader through our Climate and Global Development initiatives. Wake up bud.

Every time I try to go out in public I'm further convinced I should stay at home. The level of hysteria and over-reaction really degrades my overall opinion of the human race.
The Gestap......er, uh.... "social distance ambassadors" for the City here came to the skatepark on the weekend to threaten people for being outside. How lovely.

Has the city given them all matching shirts? Maybe a medium to dark taupe color?

What if I like whipping by Indian police?

As much as I like the answer to be USA, looks like it is undoing itself in record pace.

The data geek in me is really interested to see how trhe Quebec numbers change in the next 4-5-6 weeks. Thier schools reopened today, aside from Montréal. Are elementary students a good or poor vector of contagion for this virus? We will see!

Tbh I'm kinda glad they are so that we can observe what happens. I'd rather not be the first district to do a lot of the easing, better to wait a few extra weeks and see how their numbers look.

But is it a valid test when they don't even show up for work?

Not only are kids going to be a good vector, they are also at much higher risk than we originally thought.

Anyone else experiencing Amazon taking extremely long to ship now? I get essential items first and most likely outbreaks affecting things but it feels like things are slower to go out now than they were at the worse/scarier Covid times a month ago.

Just sucks waiting 2 weeks for something I can't buy locally or find on other websites #firstworldcovidproblems

Yeah, there's huge delays for anything thats not in the Calgary warehouse. If it has to come from elsewhere it'll be 2-3 weeks to pull from the other warehouse to Calgary. Then once it 'ships' it'll arrive in a day or two. Though I've also been getting more puralator orders lately too. Rarely got those before.

Yep. Had an item take 2 weeks from the Vancouver warehouse.
11 days till they got around to shipping it, 3 days for actual shipping.

They are a bunch of dirty French fuckers though. Their numbers are going to be worse than ours just due to that. You guys think the Italians are filthy........

Some large percentage of air freight is normally moved in passenger flights, so that part of the supply chain is fucked now.

Thanks. So the daycare, out of school care, and daycamp guidelines seem similar. Particularly in that they must stay in a "cohort" of max 10 people, which is staff and kids. So for smaller kids, that's probably two adults and eight kids.
Now that's released, the rest of the day camps will probably close, since that doesn't work at all with the normal business model.
