why would you choose to not get a booster? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
These AZ headlines lately isn't going to be good for vaccination rate as a whole.
My attitude towards boosters and the flu shot may change the older I get, but as of now I don't see the need to get one. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Healthy lifestyle, exercise, drink plenty of water... It seems to be working so far
I haven't seen a trial comparing drinking water to a vaccine yet. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
This is a reasonably common attitude. Hard for any kind of statistics to compete with anecdotal evidence, but then again, it probably doesn't need to. Vaccines, and boosters can remain optional and we can all self-assess our risks. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I'm of the belief live and let live.
Some of the choices you guys make I find to be foolish - and vise versa.
Some of you are more risk averse than I am, and that is great!
but you need to let people make their own, informed decisions.
It's not just masks it's everything. The first lockdown and all these restrictions aren't necessary if people had the freedom to make their own choice whether to go out or not. Stay home and there is a 100% chance you won't get infected. Governments have taken away this right and have repeatedly closed random sectors of society all in the name of "it's for your health". I should have the choice to go to movie theatres or gyms in the middle of a pandemic, when they are forced closed that choice is gone. This is all for your own protection Comrade. I have zero sympathy for people who catch this whilst dining out. I was picking up take out from Modern last week and saw a table of five guys on a bro date joking about how they're all "roommates". Fucking idiots. edit: It was obvious they were not roommates, they were in their early 40s and some had wedding rings. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

By that logic, restaurants infested with rats, and with no hand soap available to staff should be allowed to stay open too, because it's their choice. Nevermind that customers would have no knowledge of the conditions in the kitchen.
Shouldn't need any engineers anore either, because it's people's choice to enter a building that has been poorly designed and could collapse at any moment. We all know how a good structure is built and maintained so it's our fault for being there.
Which "Comrade Hospital" do the rest of us get to choose that these people are not allowed to go to?
Nobody cares about restaurant restrictions. Least of all the restaurants. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Good news going to restaurants are an entirely optional and easily avoidable aspect of life.

I thought that restaurants would be checking ID's to make sure people were at the same address but I guess that isn't their responsibility to enforce. Seems like it would be really easy, but I don't think they care because they would rather have the business. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
If an inspector came by and checked though, I am not sure who gets in trouble - the guests, the restaurant, or both.
