I think that a 70% target is unreasonably high. Too many reluctant people and nut cases.

We need about 650,000 more first doses administered to the 18+ population before 70% in that group is achieved.

If we follow Saskatchewan's plan, it's minimum nine weeks after 70% of those 40+ have their first dose that Stage 3 can start
we will have that many vaccines over the next two weeks, just got to get them into arms...

The latest polling shows 17% hesitancy (unsure and will not get), how do you extrapolate that number to 30%+

    April
    Kenney: Here's our reopening plan
    Media: WTF too soon junior.

    May
Kenney: Cases are fucked. We need to shut down more
    Media: Where's our reopening plan?

Doesn't our old plan focus on vaccinations and partially hospitalizations? Shit cracks me up haha.

Let’s try getting vaccinated first, then we can try reopening.

    Screw reopening plans. Plans change.

Either we are ready to reopen or we aren’t.

    Exactly this.

Poll on May 10 here in BC (K town/Okanagan)was 39% had jab, 22% not yet, and 39% won't take it. Probably a good enough reason to keep some Albertans away lol. Plus, we get the AZ that nobody else wants, not much love for Dr Henry I find.

An average person got C's in high school. Unless we start paying people, there's >30% who won't get vaccinated.

The other reason I say "it's too high" is that we should be able to abandon roughly 40% of these mouth breathers at their Mensa meetings and apple bobbing while we all enjoy the freedom to travel and blow each other and the medical system could still take the hit.

Setting a target of 70% is setting a target of "let's keep having these restrictions until 2022".

At least there are dividers. Our lunch room was essentially an area where Covid didn’t exist, 12-15 people eating together on one table since July 2020. No one has died yet so guess we were lucky.

Thanks for not saying my waist.

Edit. If we keep seeing the down trend I'm about 2 weeks out from ignoring restrictions again. Can't wait for the second shot. Whens the plan for second shots for gen pop? Hopefully we cut the shit with 10 different sub groups
