I got an email for order received, and then 3 minutes later one for it being cancelled. Of course my CC was charged though.

The wife was at Costco Deerfoot Meadows this morning and she said it was a gong show, line up was long to get in, and inside was busy and people were crowding all over the place. Upside is shelves are full for the most part. Out of stock items are listed by the doors.

5pm on workdays or the last hour on the weekends are usually good.

Costco users should avoid beacon heights, Sundridge and deerfoot meadows. Only use East Hills, Okotoks or Crossiron. So much better, worth the drive and probably a faster overall trip due to less waiting.

True before covid, and even more true now.

Yeah, it's good for the wannabe ballers in Chesterslough and the white trash in the dirty south. Close to the stoneyburgring for the rest of us if we need to blow the carbon out of our high performance minivans.

My visit to a Co-Op store today was very pleasant. Upon entry, I was greeted by a shopping cart valet who wheeled a recently sanitized cart into my path before offering me an array of sanitizers and wipes. Before sending me on my way, with a pat on the bum, the valet gently reminded me of the expected social distance etiquette of 2 meters - gesturing with his arms to ensure that the information was clear. Inside, I found ushers every few aisles to ensure suitable distancing. They were quite nice and one even waved at me. Produce were symmetrically placed and baked goods unexpired. The cashier was friendly, and never scolded me (like the one at another store) for accidentally wandering out of the confines of the yellow lines. I apologized anyway. Finally, it was off to the exit where Ser Shopping Cart valet gleefully anticipated my return with a song; prompting me to toss a coin in his direction. Overall, I rate this visit a 4.75/5.00.

In line at Costco right now and the lady tending the line said starting Monday proper face coverings will be required to enter the store. Score 1 for the maskers .

I read a memo saying when they implement it, for 1 week, they will hand out masks at the door. After that your on your own

I like T N T's approach, temperature scans if you can enter or not

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
