Ya, burying power to a shed is not permitted. Had a friend try this route and was told to pound sand, but an extension cord above ground is fine for this. I’d tell neighbour it has to go or the city will get involved.
Really? A buddy of mine just built a shed in Cranston and buried the power to that. Although, maybe he didn't need a permit and he just YOLO'ed?

You probably want to run Cat6 (2 minimum) and 30 Amp power for your EV riding mower and massive Home Theatre and hot-tub setup. Otherwise, what are you even doing with your shed and entire life?

They found it, however it also runs with the other utilities coming into the property so it was assumed to be part of everything else, but it's notThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Just a shed typical wooden shed that has a light on the outside and unsure on the inside

How sure are you about your actual property line? It's possible the property line is not exactly where you think it is and that could explain the power cable being trenched where it currently is along with it not being on your title...This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. I have a zero property line house, so it would be tough for someone to fuck that up that much
It's definitely not a screw up based on how it got run, not I'm curious however if it ties into my power, I plan to flick breakers later to see if their shed light goes out, if it does I'm cutting it

Check to see if it is live using a non-contact voltage tester before anything else.
Ever notice any skunky smells coming from your neighbour's house? Maybe they are actually stealing your power lol
Pulled a reverse of what I said earlier and been hosing the neighbour for decades because it sounds like only something you could do when place was originally built and the utilities were installed. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Can you make a sketch OP? I'm trying to figure out why he would do that? Like if you have a normal straight property line, why would it run from his house, cross into your property, then run back? It makes no sense. Unless maybe he ran into a giant boulder between his house and his shed.
