Somewhat related, I saw my first 228 gran coupe IRL the other day... god those things are dreadful. When the journalists were comparing it to a corolla, I thought they might have been using a bit of hyperbole... but nope. Horrible driving dynamics mixed with those looks

Back on topic, I'm sure this new 2 series will look a bit better IRL than in photos, but it still isn't doing it for me.

It's not a good time to be a BMW fan, unfortunately.

I’m not a fan of many new models coming out from all manufacturers, except the rs6 love that car. The fender flares are actually very nice on this car.

The black side skirts are a bit much but I really didn’t mind the black bumper/diffuser. I thought it was fun and aggressive.

It did feel big, it was next to an X3 in the showroom and I wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t have a bigger footprint.

Everything has gotten big these days though, I had my M2 parked next to a coworkers E46 M3 comp earlier in the year in the parkade and the M2 was laughably larger.

The 2 series really is comparable to the older 3 series, I dunno what the new 3 and 4 series is? A 5 series I guess ( makes sense because it weighs as much ).

That would be the CS. M2 Comp isn’t over 100 without a significant MPA.
