Don’t always have access to one when you aren’t home. You could always try to outrun a storm or wait until it passes…This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yep. I've got a running list of good cover places in my mind for this reason. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
@ExtraSlow better not take my loco Lou's spot under their deck.
With this happening so frequently, I'm thinking about just permanently using a 22.5 degree steep angle for all ground mount solar. Its simply not worth it to have it go to 51 degree angle in summer if it increases risk of a dead center softball sized hailstone smashing the panel.
That, and spend a few extra dollars to put a rubber guard on the sky edge so that the aluminum frame is extra durable. (will probably attract birds though, no simple solution)

Pretty strong storm here in Thorncliffe the last half hour or so. Heavy rain, constant lighting and thunder, haven’t seen one like this for a while.
Yep I'm a bit closer to downtown and just getting a bit of flash flooding now. Drains are keeping up.

I wonder if that's the bolt I saw. Would have been in that area and the same pattern was burnt in my retina for a few minutes it was so freaking bright!
Toilet X doing it again!
I’m up north but SW of town looks rowdy on my security cams and the hail radar site lol

Sounds like quite the light show. Did it end up being any large damaging hail?
Left my hibiscus outside. It survived.
