Went to Charcut for VDay before going to the CPO last night.

Service was super slow at the beginning but eventually sped up when we indicated we had somewhere to be after. The prices were fair for most of the meal but the meat was eye-watering for what we got -- a moderate-sized lamb shank with a massive dollop of ricotta was $46 lol. Compared to BVR, this was frankly an insult.

Think I gotta get myself a smoker and make my own lamb shank at home for those prices.

Dosa is South Indian. The roll is essentially like a crepe. In the middle is a filling.

I dont think so, but I'm not an expert. Dosas as made from lentil flour....which gives them this amazing nutty flavour. I loved it.

Dosa batter is made out of Urad Dal and Rice flour with 1:3 ratio with some other Spices.
Typically it will be let to Ferment.
One of the Dosa is what is stuffed with Potatoes and Green Peas.
People use gheee to make it crispy.

Wife loves Dosa's and we made them at home couple of weeks ago.
