I got to some two big fatties in a cave or something and I've tried it like 20 times, and it's annoying.
Now I've lost interest.

Less than two hours and I just can't get into it. The constant rolling around during combat is not my jam. Too bad because it's visually stunning and I'm sure a very cool storyline. But I just find the combat style annoying
Ultracrepidarian
Played under 2 hours, refunded via steam.
Wasnt a big fan of the length of fights, basically need to spend hours at a time to make the smallest progressions. Just not casual enough for my lifestyle.
Also poor performance, and locked at 60 FPS. This is a couch+xbox game, not made for high end gaming PCs.
I can eat more hot wings than you.
Hahaha nubs
Git gud.

For real though, I understand the frustration. When I first got dark souls my best friend in university convinced me I had to buy the game and I did. I couldn’t beat the second boss after 20+ attempts and gave up the game for a while. Friend eventually came over a few weeks later and showed me some strategy/etc and it quickly ended up becoming the best game I had ever played. It’s definitely one of those things you have to understand the dynamics and become patient with to truly enjoy.
Was talking to a streamer who played Elden Ring for around 20 hours on PC. Took him like 25 attempts to beat that first boss when you come out into the open... that big bastard on the horse walking back and forth on the main path.
I was playing on keyboard and mouse and he said to switch to controller, so I'll give that a shot.
Looking around
Wondering what became
Of what I once knew
Cocoa $7,000 per tonne.
Is anyone still playing this? I dropped it a few weeks back. I wish I had gotten a refund.
I'm surprised these games are popular. It's highly repetitive and not very creative.
I’m still playing it. Haven’t really done much for the main quests but enjoying just aimlessly wandering around and exploring the map
Do these games have a decent enough story to justify the game being so bad to play? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Its a masochists wet dream. For everyone else it can be quite frustrating, I don't like to fantasize about being weak or strong - I prefer tactical wins like tower defense.

I think the people that love that game series just love torturing themselves playing it. My friend has 100 hours into it already and is not done it. Best game of all time he says. I tried dark souls 3 to see if I could get this game and died 30 time trying to beat 2 bosses, I don’t have the time to play that.
Guess I’ll go back to enter the gungeon, a nice little old school style game. For those that don’t know.
Do the games at least have a god mode easy difficulty for people who aren’t masochists?

The game isn't really that hard, it's just people expect to fight fights as a hack and slash and keep hitting attack. Most fights are: back pedal a bit and dodge a few attacks to see their attack style and tells and/or summon spirits to tank a few hits. Then just focus on your dodge/roll/evade on their attacks and counter slash back. It's a game of patience rather than aggression but everyone just tries to mash attack and then dies to basic goblins. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
In beyond terms: It's like going from need for speed / horizon games to iracing and then people don't brake early for corners and go flying into the wall then scream the game is too hard.
I’m still playing it and think it’s the best game I’ve played in the last 10 years or so. I’ve done about 65 hours following the elden wiki progress route and think I’m only about 70% done the game. Playing a sorcerer with moonveil sword and wrecking shit currently
That sounds boring, and it seemed to be confirmed by my initial playThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
