That’s actually one good thing with the Flames being out. So hard to force yourself to stay inside and watch hockey when it’s finally enjoyable to be outside! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

So seeds in hockey are irrelevant? That's like the Bucks or Warriors losing in the first round.
Not totally irrelevant, what happened this year was a first with both 1 seeds going down. That being said, the fact that any team can win any series just makes the NHL playoffs that much more exciting. The best trophy and most exciting way of getting there. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
And the west looks like all of the lower seed teams may advance in each series!
Yup. I'm joining that bandwagon haha and of course cheering for the Bruins but only to beat the Leafs. I wouldn't mind CBJ, great story even tho I dislike Torts. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

The seeds have always been less important in the NHL and I think that's a really positive thing.

It also means that the regular season is not worth watching (or less worth watching anyway).
Sharks reminding me of the Flames lol just holding on and hoping for the best.

If anything it makes the regular season that much more enjoyable to watch. If your team can find a way to sneak in, anything can happen (Avs/Jackets this year). Sure, winning the presidents trophy doesn't really mean anything, but who cares. Having 16 teams with a chance is the most important thing. If you are a Clippers fan, you are stoked that you didn't get swept by the Warriors and that is it. Boring. Who cares if they even made the playoffs. Who cares about their regular season. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I always cheer for the remaining Canadian teams. Glad the Bruins kept me from being forced to cheer for the Leafs. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
It could be the Stanley Cup finals and I wouldn’t cheer for the leafs.

It's not that I hate the Leafs, it's that I hate their fans, city, and region.
