Thought I would post on here, know we have a few dealers on the forum.
Anyone able to PDF me a build sheet from a VIN?
TIA

EDIT: Guess I was extra slow today.
Send your VIN to [email protected]. Takes about a day.
They send back your build sheet. Here is what I got.

Call GSL parts or a service advisor, they can also print those.

I bought this from a buddy who picked it up new from the dealer on Sept 11, 2001. Yup, on that day.
So it sat at the dealer for over a year and it didn't anything other than the Z71 decal. Could be my buddy asked for them to be removed.

Interesting update. Apparently they don't like Canadians at that email anymore. They have passed me off to someone "In Canada" who may or may not be able to help me.

Weird, I requested mine from them in August. Must be a recent change.

Well that was a waste of time, in case anyone is ever tempted to email them in the future
They were kind enough to inform me of a recall that got issued 2 days ago though so I guess there is that?Hi killramos,
Thank you for contacting our US team. Our US customer care team forwarded your contact information to us regarding your inquiry on obtaining a build sheet for your 2019 GMC Sierra. Your local GMC dealership would be in the best position to obtain the build sheet for you. To locate a GMC dealership in your area please visit our site here: https://www.gmccanada.ca/en/dealer-locator
On the Topic anyone have any opinions of Shaw GMC for service? I bought my truck from CMP but after moving it’s hella far away and Shaw seems much closer, and to my knowledge has the same owner so that shouldn’t cause me any headaches. Should get the recall taken care of and an oil change while I’m at it.

I've always gone to Shaw, have had a few advisors over the years but Rob has always done well. Not annoying about all the bullshit 'maintenance' and good at communicating.
Shaw lost a sale to me. I bought my Denali in vegreville instead. Never go back. I service my truck at Jack Carter. They seem decent.
Anyone have a referral? Just about ready to pull the plug on my F150 order. 6-8 week timeframe has ballooned into four months.
I finally got to sample a 3L diesel AT4 yesterday and it blows the Ecodiesel and 3L Powerstroke out of the water.
I thnk they put it in the new Tahoe/Yukon/Denali too? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I believe so. Feels way nippier and less laggy under 120km/h compared to the Ford and Dodge and similar above (I assume HP and aero limited by that point)This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yea they have the little Duramax in the Yukon all the way up to Escalade I think?
It’s definitely the best of the three. I do still maintain my opinion that Calgary/Alberta is not an ideal place to own a diesel.

Waiting for the Yukon with the 3.0. No dealer seems to have an ETA on when they'll land. Can't go wrong with small CUV fuel economy in a full size BOF SUV.
small diesel maintenance the same as bi diesel maintenance?
