Smokers, dog owners and people who don't shower/deodorant before an airplane ride (*) are roughly equivalent in their inability to recognize how disgusting it is. Leaf blower people are at least doing something productive.

I’m a 6am snowblower. Reason is once people walk over fresh snow, it becomes much tougher to snowblow and requires me to bust out the shovel. My neighbors appreciate it, I do their walks if I have enough battery power.
    Fucking dog walkers

Using a leaf blower to remove snow should subtract 2 months of life from its operator for every minute of use after the second minute.
    Shovels exist.

Takes all of 10 minutes to shovel my corner lot. Fun drifto weather for the subaru though. Was out and about this morning.

Leaf blowers are awesome to clear vehicles and steps of light powdered snow.

Leaf blowers clear light snow better than shovels do, shovels leave a thin film of snow that eventually turns into ice.

That being said, today's accumulation is snowblower weather though.

For context, my gas powered blower neighbour, is back for round two. Started just after 11am. It is now 2:30pm, his wife is out there asking what he's doing for so long now. I estimate he's going to be done around 4pm. Fml. I need triple paned windows.

I went back out, shovelled my whole driveway and cleaned up the sidewalk again. 30min max.

Once you get a gas powered blower you will never go back - just did 8 or 9 houses down to bare pavement in 30 min or so

I do want a gas blower to complement my thrower. Some places you just can’t get the thrower to ( stairs decks etc.)

Preferably one with very competent leaf mulching chops (metal impeller) for fall.

I'd 100% snowblow vs shovelling, if I had one. My neighbour has a gas one and he's also out for hours, but idgaf, until he starts throwing snow on my driveway. But 50% of the time, he does my sidewalk too.

We only got ~1.5" on Sunday night so I decided to just shovel yesterday instead of snowblowing. God, it was awful. Great reminder of why I bought the snowblower.

I went downtown, but my co-workers down in the SE industrial area say the roads are brutal. "pure glass" is the report. So take it easy kiddies.

Ditto. Except age is catching up with me, and I threw out my lower back. Made for a pretty miserable weekend.

The little greenworks snow blower I got on clearance at Lowe's before winter did a great job with this snowfall.

Only the second time I've had to use it this winter but saved my back, worth the hundred-ish bucks I paid.
