Making progress! .. Deadlifts are getting hard for me now because I lose grip adding more weight .. anyway I can increase my grip strength?

Most of the time when I use double over grip my forearms give out before my back, so maybe try using an alternate grip? Or you can always get wrists straps to if you want to continue to use double over.

I had the same problem when I started, I use alternate grip (one palm facing towards you and the other away from you). My deadlift max is around 330lbs to 340lbs now and grip is not an issue anymore. Haven't seen you there in a while??

I've saved this routine for later once I am done my cut: http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_...ms_strong_grip

Yeah I tried alternate grip today and was able to do the 185. I will see if I can continue to increase the weight doing that.

oh and I have been going there earlier or later than you lately

I'm pretty weak still but I started at 210 lbs and I coudn't bench more than 120 for the life of me hahaha.

    Current weight: 168 lbs

    Flat Bench: 185 lbs
    Decline Bench: 185 lbs
    Incline Bench: 150 lbs
DB press: 120 lbs (60 lb DB)
    Squat (machine): 360 lbs
Deadlift: 235lbs - I need straps for these though haha.

Maybe I'll check back in a few weeks with an update like beecue did.

hmm your stats are almost exactly like mine.

    weight: 170
    Flat bench: 185x5
    Incline: 150x8
    DB press: 160 x 5 (80 per hand)
    Squat: 225 x 5 (box squats)
Deadlifts: 225 x 5 - losing grip at reps 3 or 4, either get straps, stop wearing gloves, or improve my grip strength
