A move in the right direction. back end is a bit camaro looking. and 4 tailpipes all in the middle is a bit much imo.
Looks like an r35 from the b pillar back.
Has any corvette had that little window behind the b-pillar?

This could go either way by the time it makes it to the roads. Keep the lines simple, like it's always been, IMO. This car is starting to enter "busy" territory.

I'm disappointed. Not much of a change. And not very clean lines. Would have been nice to see something different.
I really don't like that back end.
Way too many lines for me. I like our current Corvette, especially the Z06.
I think it looks badass!
Kinda looks like it has similar lines as the DB9, just alittle more accented. The rear 1/3 looks like a Camaro. I do kinda like it but still alittle undecided...
I reserve my final judgement until I view one in real life. Not really feeling the rear end of this car. As previously mentioned it looks way to 'busy'.
Top pic immediately made me think of a Celica.

I say stupid shit all the time.
Why cross-market the rear end with the Camaro? I don't think the tail lights have EVER been square/angled on the corvette.
Initial looks are fine up to the trunk. then I am the disappoint.

They are rounded squares on the C4, closest to square on a Corvette.Originally posted by Tomaz

You guys are forgetting this is jalopnik so take this design with a grain of salt.
Yeah, I can't imagine it being that dilluted in real life. It's about the single only car they've had that they manage to improve while maintaining some heritage.Originally posted by schocker

Looks like the current C6 Front end with a Camaro rear end and a Nissan GTR roof I highly doubt it will look like this when it actually comes out in ~2 years
Wow, not sure what to think.
I mean it looks good, but the New Centennial 2012 Z06 is the best looking vette ever.
This new Zr1 doesn't even come close.

The front end looks a bit late 1990's Firebird.

ehhh... i like the current one more, but ill judge it when they have the production model out!
