So quick read, there is no investigation. An FIA spokesperson says they’re looking into it to see if it warrants one. It doesn’t seem to break any rules at all. The rules forbid political or religious messages on cars. Nothing covers drivers. It’s also arguable if this message is political or not.
Fucking media. Sigh.

Ya there is no way F1 would want to open that can of worms. Its just asking for massive backlash.
This is all nonsense. Do you think Hamilton would wear a shirt at the Chinese GP condemning China's concentration camps?
Or what about the outright racism against black people that seems to be perfectly acceptable in China? Hamilton seems pretty willing to accept that paycheck.

No investigation. There will be clarifications to pre and post race attire though.

Wonder if he is getting punished through other means. I think that is now two weekends in a row where he has gotten questionable penalties.......

Honda leaves F1 in 2021 . RBR is going to be in a tough position. Time to say good bye to Max.

Kind of sad news hopefully it's not a Brawn GP exercise...
I wonder if they're making the move to Formula E.
Sad news as a Honda and RBR fan, can't see Max sticking around even before this so probably a final nail in the coffin as I don't see them strongly competing against MB next year.
Danny Ric must be super happy more so with how things have played out since he left RBR.
I can see Max heading off to Mercedes at some point, maybe they'll buy out Bottas' contract or osmething
Max has an exit clause if Honda leaves so he can sign elsewhere for 2022. Bottas contract ends in 2021. It lines up.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Hamilton is only contracted until this year. They’re not negotiating till November, roughly when he wraps up his title.

Do you think Lewis will welcome him to Merc? May be He will go to Aston or MclarenThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I’d love to see a Hamilton Max pairing. I’m not sure if it’s in the best interests of the team at all though. From Hamilton’s perspective if he can beat Max in the same car, it’ll be a great bookend to his career cementing him as GOAT.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Would obviously be good for Mercedes to get Max for multiple reasons, but Lewis is 35, Max is 23. Would be good to get Max if Lewis ever decides to retire in the next 1-5 years....or maybe he goes full Kimi
the concorde agreement states that the engine with the least number of suppliers must step up and provide. And with Mercedes, RP/Aston Martin, McLaren having Merc; Renault having Renault; Ferrari having Haas, Alfa, and Ferrari, Renault MUST provide engines to RBR and AT.
Yes, unless RBR can convince Merc to sell them engines as well. If they can't, then either entice another manufacturer back to the table, or back to Renault. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Bringing on Max might bring some fireworks to team dynamic, but it's definitely short term pain for long term gain. Merc isn't guaranteed to be dominate car wise forever, and they'll want the best driver in their car once Lewis retires. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

There's something awesome about Horner having to go back to Reanult and trying to get them to play ball. At least the engine seems to have been more relaible and improved as of late.
Max to Mercedes is a no brainer for 2022, regardless of what Lewis does. Would love to see 3 years of them fighting it out, so no one could claim it was a fluke. Gloves off, lets go.
