The problem with the optics is that it will result in even lower compliance with the restrictions by the general public. Just like when they all came out and justified BLM protests because racism is more important than a pandemic.

He probably went to visit Aga Khan again - nothing about this communist clown says 'leader' in any sense. If he gets busted its just another apology and the Eastern idiots will keep electing morons, to reflect their IQ levels.

Depends on how you want to gerrymander your “morality”

In this case damning interprovincial travel hurts Trudeau, and we can’t have that.

But damning international travel? That hurts conservatives across the country more, so it’s clearly the more immoral.

with this rampant speculation going on, why hasn't the PMO come out and said that JT is still in Canada and is not, in fact, in Barbados or wherever.

I don't know who this Glen McGreggor is, I will google him shortly, but, it seems to me that our prime minister being accused of being out of the country on some beach would coax out some statement from the PMO to clarify things. If he is in Canada, it would only be good optics for him, while the opposite would be true if he is out of the country. With no statement from the PMO, it makes me think the latter.

I didn’t see family this year because interprovincial travel was “heavily discouraged” but “his cottage is only 30 minutes from ottawa” will be the go to excuse for the crowd who are convinced Trudeau is the only thing keeping Harper at bay

You don't live with that family though. Him going to his cottage with his immediate family is no different than you going with your immediate family to your own cottage. If you really want to stick to provincial boundaries though, I guess the residents of Lloydminister, Sask. are shit out of luck to go grocery shopping. They'll have to head down to North Battleford.

Though I do agree with spikerS, the fact the PMO office hasn't said boo, and not one photo of him at his cottage is a little suspect.

You can be pretty sure there's a few dozen FOIP applications for what the challengers were doing in December waiting to be filed.

There's still 0 proof, but do you really believe he's stayed in Canada for the first time in decades? The harrington vs Rideau argument (when quebec didn't allow cross border traffic), Georgian bay this summer while his official schedule said he's in Ottawa.

We're waiting for the beer run picture...

That assumes he/his security detail won’t go to any shops/grocery stores, etc. in the area for supplies or come in contact with anyone in Quebec. If government policy is focused on staying out to not put others at risk, rules should just as much apply.

Why did his family go to Quebec? Don’t they normally live in Ottawa?

Probably mentioned before but anyone else see 2021 election setup in Canada?
Trudeau making sure we have enough vaccine for everyone, buy buy buy.
Then he'll announce election in summer and stand on his box announcing how great he is to Canada?
He'll also tout the recovery which by summer weather proxy will have allowed business to re open etc regardless of what Liberals say they did.
And we have an O'Toole who has the stage presence of Dua Lipa... *sigh*

We live in a society where people think money grows on trees and the general population has no idea what fiscal restraint is.

So yes, Liberals will win a Majority on the promise of Mincome.

Mincome is going to be handy for me. Heard oil and gas sector is dead. Just need enough to buy my $1 beers and fuel for camping.
