There are fewer lakes in Alberta than actual genders.

It's a good thing you stayed up late to come up with that one. Once Buster wakes up, that's going to put a bee right into his bonnet.

I can't even tell who's attempting to make fun of me, but it's fucking adorable.
Alberta has over sized sloughs, period. The things Albertans call "lakes" are hilarious abortions for anyone who has ever spent 17 minutes in either Sask or BC...
    These are facts.

Yes central Alberta, the middle of prairies, isn't known for having lakes.

But go in basically any direction and you'll find some great spots, particularly in the mountains and northern AB.

One of the world's most famous lake is in Alberta, and shockingly it isn't Chestermere.

LoL the concept of what an Albertan considers a "lake".
    So adorable.

It's ok... It doesn't have to be this way. You're safe here.

This one I don't understand. Rockwood home, construction took about 3 years, I literally watched it go up. Owner + family moved in summer 2023 and now have listed for sale. What 4-D chess move am I missing here?!

They built it, moved in, lived in it one year and are selling for phat stacks, avoiding cap gains taxes.

Why though. Spending all that time, thought and energy to design a home, envisioning one that you would live in, actually go through the process of moving, and then leave? Doesn't compute. They can't be short of change either.
