I am nowhere close to being a professional auto purchaser haha. That being said I do know the difference b/w msrp/cost-invoice I just said msrp as a general encompassing term. I've been negotiating with a couple of dealers on a 2022 Camaro V8 LT1 and surprisingly they aren't being quite THAT flexible as of yet it appears. I am tempted to go for one and pass on the Bronco but then wanna wait to see the Bronco first before passing on it (unless some dealer offers me a smoking deal on the Camaro I guess). This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. I tried low balling a dodge dealer on a ram and I was laughed off. He said best he could do was 1% above invoice, which is anywhere from 6-8% off mrsp I believe the end number would be about 62k for a sport with most options. The maybe in the next few months I’ll be able to make it work. I think a f150 is going to be 10-20k more for a similar trim.
That’s still a pretty good deal. But hopefully some more cash will be on hood for excess ‘23 models 12 months from nowThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

In that article they said "Leasing a new vehicle just keeps getting more expensive. The average monthly lease payment hit $661" but if you went and financed that same vehicle your monthly payment would be even higher. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Ya also this was for a 2022 model, in the perfect world for dealerships 2022 would be gone in sept-Oct I would think.
Bring Darkane along for your vehicle negotiations

Starting is the key word here... It's a Macan not a 911 GT3 Touring. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

The rationale is that the monthly payments 'end' (replaced with out-of-warranty maintenance costs) and it's not forever like if you lease the car. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Ideally, best car is paid car.
Porsche buyers are the least rational I think, so they will be the last ones sitting around winding what happenedThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Wanna negotiate on the Camaro for me? lolThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I have one dealer coming down 5K (but they had hiked up the price by 5k after I contacted them - they won't admit it) and the other is 2K down (but they had reduced 1500 on their own as advertised). They keep sending me bullshit bi-weekly numbers and I keep saying I need the vehicle to be at or below $X out the door and don't care about the monthly number. It's like negotiating with children. Also, looks like no Chevy dealer ( at least these two don't - one from Calgary and one from Edmonton) post the window sticker online of the vehicles as RAM and Ford does, so no way to tell what the msrp even is/was.
Why are you buying a Camaro lol

Haven't fully decided yet but thinking about it instead of the Bronco. Have a GC for SUV and it's good enough and R8 I can't fully and properly drive in the winter so thinking Camaro V8 will be a cheap and fun winter sports car.
I know I have issues. Like I need a 5th fucking vehicle.
I assumed it was a typo or something. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Going from R8 to Camaro is like going from banging a super model to banging Amy Schumer
How is a Camaro any better to drive in the winter than an R8.
Just man up and drive your R8 in the snow lol

Haha I wouldn't be getting rid of the R8, but that analogy is on point. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Higher up and way cheaper that I don't give a shit if it's dirty or something happens to it. I took the R8 out a couple of times and you should see what it looks like. Sad seeing it sitting in the garage in that condition and I can't even wash it cause it'll just get dirty coming back home. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
